CHINESE POEMS 学诗词 Song for the Goose 《咏鹅》

Learning Chinese Poems is a great way to practice pronunciation, but also learn a bit about the culture and history.

This Poem is by Tang Dynasty poet Luo Bin Wang.

This is often the very first poem children learn, because not only is it incredibly easy, it also sounds great in various dialects. The coolest thing about this poem is that the poet was also a child at the time of its creation. Luo Bin Wang was only seven years old! That gave this simple poem a very special charm, that most poems by adult poets do not have. It is a great poem to learn to practice basic Chinese pronunciation for early learners of the Chinese language.

咏鹅是大多数中国小朋友学的第一首诗,这时一首十分简单的诗,并且用不同方言阅读有不同韵味的诗。这首诗的作者,骆宾王,在创作这首诗的时候才七岁。也许就是因为此,这首诗有着与众不同的趣味,易学,却不枯燥。这首诗十分适合刚学习中文的朋友们练习发音。
